Producer seeks Curlers to be in “Sticks and Stones” Movie about Team John Shuster

A film crew needs extras with curling experience for an upcoming sports biopic.

“Sticks and Stones,” a movie chronicling American Olympic curler John Shuster’s path to gold medal victory, requires background performers familiar with the sport.

Casting directors are primarily interested in curlers of all ages who actively participate in teams or leagues and have their own curling equipment. The production also needs people to portray athletes, airport passengers, and diners in restaurant scenes.

Production takes place in two phases in Canada: November 17 through December 19, 2025, followed by a second round from January 12 to 16, 2026.
